I was told that you wore watch on weak hand because the movement wouldn’t break because of the greater movement of strong hand. Probably only an issue with old cheaper movements. WebLeft handed in sports, everything else right handed including phone use. I’ve recently purchased my first “luxury” watch and being overly conscious with wear and tear. Tried wearing it on the left wrist and it’s just too uncomfortable. Don’t worry about wear tear. It is going to happen.
